Basic Obedience I

Basic obedience training helps your pet learn his role in your family and in the world. It will teach the skills needed to interact with other dogs and with the people inside and outside your home. It's the first step to teaching healthy behaviors and avoiding negative ones. Obedience training consists of learning these simple commands such as the ones below and progressing onto advanced ones.

60 minute training session

Recall – teaching the dog to "come" when called

Sit – teaching the dog to sit on command

Walking or heeling – teaching the dog to walk with you or heel

Down – teaching the dog not to stray on command

Sociability training – teaching the dog proper social dog on dog interaction

Watch Me- teaching your dog to focus on you in distracting situation

Stay-teaching your dog to sit and stay on command
